UoA Thought Leadership Series

I led the creative concept and delivery of Ignite, an event series designed for busy professionals seeking to stay relevant in an ever-evolving workforce. The chosen name, Ignite, captures passion, inspiration, and momentum — reflecting both the essence of thought leadership and the spark within us all. This paired with the Connect. Learn. Lead. opens the event to endless opportunities growth.

Visually, the series comes to life through dynamic, upward-flowing Waipapa graphics in lava orange, symbolising energy, fresh ideas, and forward motion. A bold gradient background anchors the design, tying the creative to the UoA Thought Leadership Series while reinforcing the depth and diversity of topics explored and the authority of our speakers. Supporting messaging — Connect. Learn. Lead. — echoes the wider brand narrative and highlights the value and of the series and it’s various thouch points.

The campaign rolled out across digital channels, blending owned and paid media. I developed all visual assets for web, advertising, and event collateral, and provided art direction for the series website. To support our speakers, I created bespoke film treatments, storyboards, and animation styling, ensuring a cohesive and professional look across every touchpoint.

This concept is bold, flexible, and designed to inspire action — with room to grow alongside future postgraduate-focused events.
